Saturday, April 17th
Saturday May 15th
9:30 - 12:30 (PST)
The depth of autumn is upon us, and because this year is different from any other, I turn to the shortening days, the increase of darkness, and the air's chill for the sustenance that comes always at this time of year, that pulling inward, that need to notice that'll carry me till spring. And there is so much in now to notice!
Join me and a group of like-minded women to honor your depth, complexities and contradictions, to mull on paper and in community—freely. Turn your now into story, poem, journal entry.
Whether you call your self a writer or not, no matter. This three-hour workshop will support you to take what is confusing and beyond understanding and transform it into story, poem, or journal entry. Make something tangible out of your now. Find words to respond to our complicated world. Make art out of your life.
* Strengthen your ability to listen to yourself and others.
* Play with language
* Invite inspiration
* Conquer self-doubt
$60 per class

Each workshop and retreat offers participants time to reflect and engage with their imagination, to find words for what they thought was unsayable, to write freely, with curiosity and confidence.
